With lockdown finally easing and hair and beauty open again, I was queueing up to take advantage of a much needed hair cut and facial treatment. I felt like I took years off in a matter of minutes! We do all need to think about our health and well-being. It has been a difficult time for all of us and much harder for many others including our healthcare workers, those who suffer mental health issues and some living alone. Let’s consider our neighbours who are alone and make the effort to check on them.
As 6th May comes around please make the effort to cast your vote. It is important and in some ways, our democratic responsibility for living in a free world country. Local Council is just as important as National Government as they work on behalf of us in the community to improve our lives and work closely with Runnymede Borough Council to get things done!
It’s so lovely to see shops opening up again and see the high street back in operation. Let’s all consider what shop owners, pubs and restaurants have had to go through these last few months and do our best to support them.
We have a few more events being announced that will go ahead this summer including the Magna Carta Day, Hampton Court Flower Show and Polsney Green Fair. Hopefully as we move into summer and even further easing of lockdown, we will see more events taking place.
Please do remember to be vigilant and wear a mask when appropriate.
Yours faithfully,
