Dementia Carers Support are here for you, to give you and your loved one a ‘Social Life’ together whilst coping with Dementia.
Drop in Clubs, Saturday Lunch Clubs, Saturday Breakfast Clubs, River Boat Trips, Cream Teas, Weekends Away and many many more. There is no need to feel cut off and lonely, we feel like one big family, because we all understand what you are going through. At our little drop in Clubs, Tea and Cake comes first, then we start our activities, the gentlemen can go off to have a game of Snooker or a game of Bowles (our rules!!) the ladies can sit and have a good old ‘natter’ or join in with our other activities.
Run totally by volunteers, our aim is to give you back a ‘little bit of Sunshine’ into your life whilst looking after your loved one with Dementia. All our services are Free of Charge (albeit a little donation is always welcome)
All are welcome, whoever you are, looking after a Dementia sufferer. Husband, Wife, Sister, Brother, Daughter, Son, Friend. As long as you accompany them and stay for the 2 hours with them, and they have been Diagnosed with any form of Dementia.
