Summer in September. Is this the future for Britain? We are certainly going through a period of change in the last 5 years. From Covid to the weather and many other things also, there is a lot we have to adapt too.
If anything, it makes having a strong community even more important.
I have to admit how much I love working with the Weybridge community. There are so many good hearted and interesting residents.
I’ve had a lovely time working with Clive Morris (you may remember the Harley motorbike that is now at the Sculpture Park in Farnham) and Midge McConnell from Broadwater Lake Conservation group on Clive’s 3 part series of the History of Oatlands House and Palace. Clive has decided to go back for a history degree at Royal Holloway as a mature student. We look forward to reading many more interesting local history stories.
If you have a community story that you would like to highlight in our monthly publications, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
