CHERTSEY LIFE | NOVEMBER 2020

Hard to believe we are into November already.  Athough this year has certainly taken a toll on all of us, it has gone by fast. The unfortunate part is that we are heading into Level 2 of the Covid-19 Government Guidelines, meaning more precautions need to be taken to control the virus. People need be vigilant and let’s get through this as quickly as possible. All of us would like to see Christmas celebrated with family and friends and be able to ring in 2021 without the threat of Covid-19 taking over another year of our lives. Our businesses and restaurants need us and we need them.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Roses at the Bourne Cafe and enjoying a latte and cheese toastie.  What a lovely family and so nice to have the cafe open for business again.

Please make sure you pay them a visit and enjoy Gogmore Park in Autumn. The Golden Grove are back open taking bookings and ready to serve you.  Give James and Steve a call and book in for a nice meal.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a few more residents and very pleased to hear people enjoying the magazine and feeling they are more in tune with the community.

We have several local businesses also getting involved with the publications.  As we are all spending more time at home, think local, buy local and get more involved.

Yours faithfully,
